Liars Gonna Lie

 

So, what she really meant is that slavery was expanding and enslavers dominated the presidency, senate, and supreme court while the American Civil War was going on?  I know liars lie like scorpions sting, but I typically hope for a bit more creativity when people at the NY Times lie.
